In this lecture Professor Zach Murphy will be teaching you about the structure and function of peroxisomes. After discussing the normal function of peroxisomes, we will go into USMLE step 1 disorders related to peroxisomal deficiencies. These will include Zellweger syndrome, Refsum's disease, and Adrenoleukodystrophy.
